abstract = {Talent Management has been adopted by many organisations to identify and optimise internal “talent” among their staff and to recruit external “talent”. At a macro level, it might be argued that it is self evident if talent management is about developing  people, there is prima facie case to recommend coaching as a primary element.  However, that perspective is somewhat narrow, limiting the input of coaching simply to the 1:1 development coaching with the talent. Rather, this article looks to  take the perspective from the broad range of talent management interventions as opposed to  simply 1:1 coaching of the “talent” per se. Coaching, in particular Coaching Psychology, has long been recognised as having a key role to play in the  development of talent in the sporting and entertainment business. This short article explores the range of Talent Management processes in organisations and proposes that Coaching Psychologists may have a key role to play in leveraging talent  management },
