AB  - This study presents an instrument to evaluate coaching self-efficacy defined as the extent to which a person believes in his or her capacity to establish trusting relationships and ability to communicate effectively with others in order to facilitate their personal and professional potential. Two-hundred-and-thirty adult trainee coaches completed the Coaching Skills Self-Efficacy Scale (CSSES). In general, the results provided support for the reliability and validity of the CSSES. The implications for psychological research and intervention in this domain are discussed.
