Coaching from Multiple Perspectives

P Rosinski International Journal of Coaching in Organizations 2006

In this article, Phillippe Rosinski promotes global coaching as a broad and inclusive form of coaching, necessary for enabling sustainable and global success. Global coaches strive to seamlessly link and possibly leverage multiple perspectives. Specifically, he proposes six general perspectives, found to be particularly useful in executive coaching: Spiritual, Cultural, Political, Psychological, Managerial and Physical. Rosinski discusses how non-traditional perspectives could open additional possibilities and new growth opportunities in the case of Marie. Finally, the Möbius strip representation is suggested to emphasize our interconnected reality and the synthesis we can help to bring about.
